Bhoot Bangla Review: A Decent Family Entertainer, Earns ₹21.60 CR On Day 1

Bhooth Bangla has finally hit the big screens and is receiving mixed reactions: some are calling it a fun watch, while others feel it drags in parts.

Bhooth Bangla (⭐️⭐️⭐️/5)

  • Cast: Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani
  • Director: Priyadarshan
  • Producer: Ekta Kapoor

Set in a village backdrop, the story follows brides mysteriously disappearing on their wedding, with demon Vadhusur being behind it.

Akshay Kumar leads the film with his signature comic timing and acting, keeping things engaging even when the pace slows down. Wamiqa Gabbi and Tabu have limited but decent presence. The real highlights are Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and late Asrani, who bring most of the laughs and end up stealing several scenes. The rest of the supporting cast does a fair job too.

The music is forgettable and doesn’t leave much of an impact. While the film has its funny moments, the comedy feels forced at times, with a few old jokes repeated. Overall, it’s a decent family entertainer; light, watchable, but not consistently engaging.

Box Office Day 1 Collection

Bhooth Bangla has opened to a strong start at the box office, collecting around ₹21.60 crore globally on Day 1, marking an impressive beginning despite mixed reviews.
