Planning a Valentine’s movie date? O Romeo might just be the perfect choice. Ever since its announcement, the film has created strong buzz on social media. Now that we’ve finally watched it, it’s safe to say the praise is well deserved.
An action-revenge drama that keeps you hooked, though it falters at times. Vishal Bhardwaj has nevertheless delivered some commendable work with this one.
Shahid Kapoor as Ustara brings his signature swag and delivers a total badass performance, impressive as always.
Triptii Dimri as Afsha is equally powerful. After her brilliant performances in Laila Majnu and Bulbul, she once again proves her acting strength. In O Romeo, she absolutely nails both the emotional and action sequences.
Avinash Tiwary as Jalal surprises everyone with an intense villainous act. His screen presence is a treat to watch.
The film also features great performances by Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Disha Patani Tamannaah Bhatia and Farida Jalal.
