After days of ongoing divorce rumours, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have officially announced their separation through a joint statement on Instagram.
In the statement, Mouni expressed disappointment over false narratives and misleading media coverage surrounding her personal life. Several reports had claimed that Suraj cheated on her or used her for money and fame. However, shutting down the rumours, Mouni clarified that Suraj is a “good person” and stated that whatever happened between them is nobody else’s business.
The couple revealed that they have amicably decided to part ways and move forward on different paths with mutual respect, after carefully considering their evolving personal priorities. They also requested privacy from fans and the media during this difficult phase.
For the unversed, Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar tied the knot in a grand destination wedding in Goa in January 2022, and their marriage lasted for four years. Reportedly, the former couple first met through mutual friends at a New Year’s Eve party in Dubai back in 2019.
